Schedule Update: World Association of Marching Show Bands National Championship
Out of an abundance of caution, given the active heat wave moving through our area, we are adjusting the schedule on July 1st to help keep our performers and guests safe and comfortable.
Revised Schedule:
Gates Open: 9:00 AM (previously 9:30 AM)
Event Begins: 10:00 AM (previously 11:00 AM)
Event Ends: 2:00 PM (previously 4:00 PM)
We appreciate your flexibility and believe this change is in the best interest of our student performers from around the world, as well as everyone joining us to watch this incredible event. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to a great show!
Come make your own history during the 250th birthday of the United States of America by attending two different marching band field show competitions at West Chester University’s Farrell Stadium on July 1, 2026!
The show will feature marching bands from ITALY – GERMANY – SWEDEN – ENGLAND – PUERTO RICO – COLOMBIA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (WISCONSIN)!
This never-before-seen, and never-to-be-repeated competition is all part of the WORLD ASSOCIATION OF MARCHING SHOW BANDS 250th USA CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Bands will compete in one or two categories of FIELD PARADE COMPETITION and then the SHOW BAND FIELD COMPETITION, while others will perform in an exhibition.
Judges from across the nation will adjudicate the groups using the “One World” system, and if bands score 80 or above, they receive an automatic invitation to perform at the 2027 or 2028 World Championships!
This is a very unique competition and is a once-in-a-lifetime event!
While tickets will be available at the gate, we encourage purchasing pre-sale tickets, as seats are limited and may sell out before the event date.
