Five Tracks.
One Ensemble.

Student participants work with our INCOMPARABLE educational team to develop performance techniques and leadership skills in their area of concentration (Drum Major, Winds, Color Guard, Battery Percussion, Front Ensemble). All participants engage in a collaborative and goal-oriented full-ensemble environment while assembling a Capstone Demonstration to be performed at the conclusion of the Workshop!

Drum Major

Our INCOMPARABLE Drum Major track goes beyond the basic 4-pattern. Drum Major students will learn about presence, score analysis, musicianship, and more! Each Drum Major will have a practical conducting experience on the podium in front of our 300+ piece INCOMPARABLE Workshop Band!  When they aren’t on the podium, Drum Majors will perform on their primary instruments to engage in clinics that enhance and reinforce their skills and encourage them to delve deeper and incorporate leadership into their daily lives!

Brass and woodwinds are featured in this track of the INCOMPARABLE Workshop! Students will focus on developing musical and visual performance skills with our featured clinicians and will learn how to provide positive instruction in small group sectional and full ensemble rehearsal settings! Leadership will be the focus of daily group sessions focused on unlocking each student’s potential!

During dedicated performance sessions, percussion students will hone their performance skills, uniformity, and musicianship. Students will learn how to communicate as a percussion ensemble and gain a deeper understanding of their critical role during full ensemble rehearsals and performances! Additional daily leadership and personal responsibility sessions round out the week for percussion students during their INCOMPARABLE Workshop experiences!

Fundamentals of performance will be the basis for the color guard track at the INCOMPARABLE Marching Band workshops. Clinicians will lead body movement, equipment, and ensemble uniformity sessions. Students will gain a deeper understanding of their role as visual storytellers and how to communicate with an audience to maximize effect during performances! Daily sessions in leadership will show each student that their leadership affects the entire ensemble and how to capitalize on those strengths. Whether you have a color guard of five or 50, students in this track will gain many skills and tools to take back to their team!

Performance, Leadership, and Ensemble for all!
