The Vivace Leadership Weekend is the premier weekend workshop experience for student leaders in the marching arts. Designed for drum majors, section captains, and emerging student leaders, this two-day intensive blends world-class instruction with practical, real-world application.

Featuring nationally recognized leaders including Bobby Lambert, Tim Lautzenheiser, John Villella, and Adam Gumble, participants engage in high-impact sessions focused on leadership, communication, culture-building, and performance excellence!

Throughout the weekend, students develop the skills to lead with clarity and confidence, strengthen their ability to connect with peers, and learn how to create a culture where excellence is expected and supported. Sessions are interactive, engaging, and designed to provide actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately within their programs.

Participants leave with:

  • A clear vision for their role as a leader
  • Practical tools to improve communication and team dynamics
  • Strategies to enhance rehearsal efficiency and engagement
  • The confidence to lead with purpose and authenticity

Surrounded by passionate student leaders from across the region, this experience goes beyond training – it’s a catalyst for transformation. If you’re serious about elevating your leadership and your program, this is where it starts!
