Marching Band Design Workshop

In partnership with USBands, Vivace Productions is thrilled to once again offer an opportunity to jump into the art and science of marching band design, tailored to help you and your team bring your creative vision to life in the 2026 season. With hands-on guidance from our clinicians, these workshops are a chance to take your design process to the next level!

  • January 24th – Robbinsville High School (Trenton, NJ)
  • January 25th – West Milford High School (West Milford, NJ)
  • February 1st – West Chester University (West Chester, PA)
Our design team is constantly seeking new ways to elevate our program, and this clinic exceeded every expectation. We left the workshop with an extraordinary wealth of ideas, big-picture concepts, detailed design strategies, and practical approaches to strengthening our students’ skills. Each clinician brought a unique perspective and a level of expertise that challenged us to think differently about our show design, musical vocabulary, and visual artistry.

The experience energized our entire team. We walked away inspired, equipped with innovative tools, and eager to push the boundaries of what our program can achieve.

Designing a show can be daunting, especially for a younger design team. When I took our design team to the Vivace show design clinic we didn’t know what to expect but over the course of the sessions we came away with valuable processes to improve our design. Working with the clinicians and having assistance with how we approach designing a show from scratch was instrumental in bringing our 2024 program, "Vincent," to life.

The design workshop we attended last year was an incredible experience for not only me as a director, but our entire design team. The opportunity to sit and discuss our vision with some of the top designers in the pageantry arts, was something that provided our design process a successful jump start to the season. We walked away from this day inspired, filled with creativity, and a wealth of knowledge on how to be a better program for not only our marching program, but our entire band program.
