Inside the Booster Seminar Presented by Peak Group Travel

Every successful music program has people working behind the scenes to help students succeed. The parents organizing meals. The volunteers unloading trucks. The people coordinating uniforms, fundraising, travel, logistics, paperwork, schedules, and a hundred other things nobody sees from the stands. That work matters…A LOT!!!!

The Booster Seminar (July 22nd, 9am – 12pm @ West Chester University, presented by Peak Group Travel) is designed to support the people who spend so much time supporting everyone else.

Hosted as part of the Vivace INCOMPARABLE Workshop at West Chester University, the seminar brings together booster leaders, parent volunteers, and program supporters for practical conversations about what helps music programs operate more effectively, communicate more clearly, and create stronger experiences for students and families.

Throughout the seminar, participants explore topics like:

      • volunteer organization

      • communication

      • parent engagement

      • travel coordination

      • fundraising

      • leadership transitions

      • supporting directors and staff

      • creating positive parent culture

      • and building sustainable systems for long-term success

But honestly? One of the most valuable parts of the seminar is simply realizing that other organizations are navigating many of the same challenges. Every booster organization is trying to balance:

        • support

        • communication

        • logistics

        • expectations

        • and the desire to create meaningful experiences for students

      That’s not always easy.

The seminar is designed to create space for honest conversation, practical idea-sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.

Strong booster organizations don’t happen accidentally, they are built intentionally through:

          • communication

          • trust

          • teamwork

          • flexibility

          • and shared purpose

One of the biggest reminders throughout the seminar is this: The goal is not simply running events. The goal is to help students have transformational experiences.

When booster groups and educational staffs work together well, students feel the impact immediately. Programs become healthier.

        Communication improves.
        Stress decreases.
        Culture strengthens.

And students benefit from all of it!

The seminar also provides opportunities to connect with experienced leaders, ask questions, share ideas, and learn practical strategies that can help organizations operate more effectively immediately.

Nobody should feel like they have to figure all of this out alone. And honestly? The best booster organizations are usually filled with people who care deeply about students, community, and creating opportunities for others.

        That deserves support, too!
